Using this site

You are welcome to read this site and to submit an inquiry. Please do not attempt to break into it, scrape it wholesale, or use it to send us anything abusive or automated.

No advisory relationship

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, investment or lobbying advice, and reading it does not make you a client.

An advisory relationship with us begins only when both parties sign an engagement letter setting out the scope, the fee and the terms. Sending us an inquiry does not create one, and until one exists you should not send us anything you would not want disclosed.

The funding opportunity tracker

The tracker mirrors public federal funding notices from sources such as Grants.gov. It is a convenience for finding things, and it is not the authority on any of them.

The data is refreshed on a schedule, which means it can lag. Agencies amend notices, move deadlines, change eligibility and cancel opportunities, and any of those can happen between our refresh and your reading. Every listing links to the official notice for exactly that reason.

Before you rely on a deadline, an eligibility rule or an award ceiling — check the official notice. Do not submit against a date you read here.

We do not endorse any opportunity by listing it, and inclusion says nothing about whether you are eligible or likely to succeed.

No guarantee of outcomes

Federal awards are decided by agencies against their own criteria and their own appropriations. Nothing on this site is a prediction, promise or guarantee that any application will succeed, that any amount will be awarded, or that any policy objective will be achieved.

Government relations

Government relations and advocacy work is regulated, and where an engagement requires registration or reporting under the Lobbying Disclosure Act or comparable state law, those obligations are handled within the engagement itself. Descriptions of that work on this site are general, and are not a representation about any particular matter or any particular client.

Not an offer of securities

The private equity and venture capital pages describe advisory services. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or interest in any fund, and nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation about any investment.

Any securities transaction is conducted through the appropriate documentation and the appropriately licensed parties, never through a website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, and any dispute about them belongs in the courts sitting in the District of Columbia.
